It all started in 2006…

Higher Ground began as a dream to create generational wealth for my children and set my family up for success for decades to come. For the past 15 years, we have spread this vision to others while always providing our customers seeking quality transportation with executive vans, private coach and shuttle services. We always provide a professional, safe, punctual, and customizable experience.

My name is Jan Desper Peters. I am the CEO and Owner of Higher Ground Transportation Services. I am a wife, a mother and a sole proprietor that has successfully navigated the winding roads of entrepreneurship for over 15 years. I have almost 25 years of experience managing systems and people to ensure customer satisfaction and excellent service.

I am often asked: "What drives you?" My response can be summed up in one statement. The value in leaving a legacy for our children and positively touching the lives of others so that they may do the same.
